The erection of our gantry crane for the hoisting of gates and turbines at the hydroelectric power plant Dravograd on the river Drava, Slovenia.

Bisnode d.o.o., the leading provider of business information services in Slovenia, has this year begun to issue certificates to those business entities in Slovenia that earned the highest rating for their work.

A part of the rating consists also of pay and credit capacities, indebtedness and business practices of the last three years.
Only 3% of the business entities can praise themselves to have earned the certificate of quality achievement. We are proud of ourselves and happy to be among them.

During its operation the crane VRŽ 150 t was overloaded which lead to a permanent deformation or breaking of the central column of the crane.

The central column is carrying the whole weight of the rotary part of the crane of app. 600 Tons.

Documentation with a computer simulation of the hoisting and levelling of the central column was prepared before the repairs.

Afterwards a portable lifting platform of 70 tons (upper and lower platform) was installed on the central column. Hydraulic lifts were placed between the platforms and half of the central column was cut out. The entire construction of the rotary part of the crane was hoisted with hydraulic lifts installed on the side of the column. The central column was levelled while lifting. After levelling the whole segment of the damaged part of the central column was replaced.

The repairs were carried out together with the personnel of the customer.

After the repairs the cranes operates with the same characteristics as before the damage.

2. The certificate ISO 9001:2008 nr. 12 100 38765 TMS delivered by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH, Munich

• The certificate for the ISO 14001 environmental management standard
• The certificate for the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series.
